Accessibility

Designed to be usable by everyone.

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA across the website and client portal.

01Our commitment

PIE Interiors wants every visitor and client to be able to explore our work, submit a project inquiry and use the client portal with dignity and independence.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is considered as the website, forms and portal are updated; it is not treated as a one-time exercise.

02Measures we take

  • Use semantic headings, landmarks, labels and status messages so pages can be understood with assistive technology.
  • Support keyboard navigation, including forms, menus, galleries, lightboxes and before-and-after controls.
  • Provide visible keyboard focus and colour contrast designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Add descriptive alternative text to meaningful project photography and accessible names to controls.
  • Allow text to reflow across common screen sizes without requiring horizontal scrolling.
  • Respect reduced-motion settings by limiting non-essential animation when a device requests it.
  • Use clear validation messages and associate form errors with the relevant information wherever possible.

03Compatibility

The website is designed for current versions of major browsers and for common desktop and mobile assistive technologies. Older browsers, unusual browser extensions or unsupported device combinations may not provide the same experience.

For the best experience, keep your browser and assistive technology updated. Browser zoom and device text-size settings may be used to enlarge content.

04Known limitations

Some third-party content or services that we do not control may have accessibility limitations. Project photography may also contain complex visual details that cannot be fully conveyed in brief alternative text. We will provide a description or an alternative way to receive information on request.

Accessibility testing reduces barriers but cannot guarantee that every combination of technology and individual need will work perfectly. We welcome reports that help us improve.

05Feedback and assistance

If you encounter a barrier, need information in another format or need help completing a form, email hello@designbypie.com or call (804) 939-2565. Please tell us which page or feature caused difficulty and, if comfortable, the browser or assistive technology you were using.

We will acknowledge accessibility feedback as promptly as practical, investigate the issue and offer a reasonable alternative while we work on a correction. Accessibility requests are handled without charge.

06Ongoing review

We review key journeys — including navigation, project inquiries, sign-in, quotes and project tracking — when significant changes are made. This statement was last updated in September 2026.
